Christopher Harrison is an award-winning landscape photographer based in the South East of England, near Henley-on-Thames. By day Christopher work in the technology industry, and when he is not working, he spends as much time in nature as possible - ideally with his camera or drone to hand. This is often at sunrise, sunset or in the dark to capture landscape and nature photographs.
Getting outdoors during harsh conditions, whether this is during snow, frost, fog or storms, is what Christopher lives for. He finds it most satisfying to transform what most would see as something ordinary into something extraordinary.
Photography helps to keep Christopher in rhythm with the seasons, such as the bluebell bloom in spring, summer storms, the colours of autumn or the magic of snow on the landscape in winter.
This might be finding a new composition, an undiscovered woodland, or being there the right time. Christopher thrives in the process of scouting & planning photography trips into his local area & further afield, as well as the process of editing in Adobe Lightroom.
Christopher has always had a desire to have a camera in hand. Early in his life, as a teenager, he didn't want the 'best' mobile phone - he wanted the best camera within a phone. This resulted in the Sony Ericsson t610 followed by a Sony Ericsson k800i. Following these, he stepped up into a 'proper' camera (outside of using his dads).
