Bluebell Woodlands
Bluebells give you about a fortnight, and the exact fortnight moves by weeks depending on the winter. I keep a list of woods and start checking them in mid April - usually far too early - and then go back every few days until it happens.
Micheldever Wood in Hampshire and West Woods in Wiltshire are the well known ones and they earn the attention. The rest of these were made in smaller Chiltern woodlands which I deliberately do not name. Bluebells take years to establish and a single footstep undoes them, so I stay on the paths and would gently encourage anyone photographing them to do the same.
Prints of all of these are available.
