Fresh Snow in Courcheval

Courcheval · Winter

Heavy snowfall covered the three valleys in over a metre of snow late in the ski season across the French Alps in Courcheval. It smoothed out the rolling rocky landscape into undulating white mounds, right towards the jagged peaks of these huge mountains. Low clouds rolled over the peaks, almost like candy floss. You can see marmotte trails in the snow, having emerged from their winter hibernation.
